Abstract. The article deals with the issues of the lexical content of professionally oriented network discourse. Recognition of importance of the analysis of on-line ‘doctor - patient’ communication on medical topics in the unity of linguistic, communicative-pragmatic, cognitive and socio-characteristics allows identifying the specificity of the lexical composition of the medical forum participants’ speech. It is proved that common linguo-therapeutic orientation, address openness, interactivity, focus on the potential involvement of a recipient in dialogic interaction, etc. are discourse-forming characteristics.
Key words and phrases: профессионально-ориентированный дискурс, медицинские онлайн-форумы, структура коммуникации "врач - пациент", лексическая наполненность речи, медицинская терминология, professionally oriented discourse, medical on-line forums, ‘doctor - patient’ communication structure, lexical content of speech, medical terminology
