STRUCTURE OF DICTIONARY ENTRY IN EXPLANATORY DICTIONARIES OF THE ADYGHE LANGUAGES

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the peculiarities of a dictionary’s micro-structure. The author’s attention is focused on both compositional and meaningful aspects of the dictionary entries represented in explanatory dictionaries of the Adyghe languages. Relevance of the paper is determined by the necessity to compensate for the lack of study of lexicographical works in general and their architectonics in particular in the Adyghe linguistics. The author discovers the principles of compiling dictionary entries and identifies the peculiarities of their functioning in explanatory and bilingual dictionaries of the Adyghe (Kabardian-Circassian and Adygei) languages.
