Abstract. Phytonymic vocabulary is an important research area in the context of linguoculturological interpretation of M. I. Tsvetaeva’s poetry because it represents the artistic images typical of the author’s original worldview. The article examines folkloric and mythological symbolism transferred by phytonymic images in relation to M. I. Tsvetaeva’s artistic worldview, which is based on ethno-cultural heritage and the author’s self-identification with the natural world. It allows the poetess to transfer emotions and psychical states of a lyrical heroine.
