Abstract. The article considers the relevant issues associated with the peculiarities of declension, formation and functioning of collective and disjunctive numerals in the Ingush language. This problem is insufficiently covered in scientific literature. There’s a lack of advanced studies on collective and disjunctive numerals in the Ingush language though they require a detailed analysis from the viewpoint of etymology, place in the part-of-speech system, morphological and syntactical peculiarities. The above mentioned facts determine the relevance of the problem for the Ingush linguistics and Caucasian studies in general.
Key words and phrases: ингушский язык, распределительные и собирательные числительные, способ образования, редупликация, склонение, функции, Ingush language, disjunctive and collective numerals, way of formation, reduplication, declension, functions
