Semantic Types of Momentaneousness of Action and Analytic Means of Their Representation in the Bashkir Language

Abstract. The article aims to determine semantic types of momentaneousness of action, to identify analytic means and auxiliary verbs in the sphere of their representation in the Bashkir language. The research is novel in that it is the first in the Bashkir linguistics to identify semantic types of momentaneousness of action and to shed light on the modern approach to the means of their representation in the Bashkir language from the standpoint of functional grammar. The research findings have shown that the means representing momentaneousness of action in the Bashkir language are of overlapping nature and form functional-semantic fields of momentaneousness / short duration and momentaneousness / prolonged duration, interpenetrating each other’s spheres.
