Representation of the Concept "Fine/Beautiful" in the Buryat Language (Synonymic Row , , ?)

Abstract. The paper aims to identify specificity of the concept "fine/beautiful" in the Buryat language from the viewpoint of topological relevance and ethno-cultural influence (synonymic row , , ? ). The conducted research shows that the adjectives and belong to the conceptual field "Human Being" and are used only in relation to people, whereas the adjective ? can express beauty of both a human and an inanimate object. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the author for the first time analyses representation of the concept "fine/beautiful" in the Buryat language from the topological viewpoint.
