Problem-Thematic Singularity of R. Mukhamadiev’s Short Stories

Abstract. The study aims to identify the problem-thematic singularity of R. Mukhamadiev’s short stories. The paper is novel in that it is the first to analyse R. Mukhamadiev’s short stories in detail from the perspective of originality of themes and problems, the author’s interpretation of the raised problems of modern life, ways of creating images, as well as singularity of the world depicted. The results of the study and analysis have shown that, firstly, R. Mukhamadiev’s short stories mainly reflect philosophical, publicistic and critical principles; secondly, peculiarities of the writer’s creative work are characterised by the masterful use of linguistic and stylistic means of depiction, for instance, such as metaphoricity, simile, binarity and aphoristicity, etc., as well as by the author’s explicit standpoint in assessing both current events and unique images.
