The research objectives are as follows: to deepen theoretical knowledge in a dialogic statement formation, to clarify features of a dialogic statement, such as pragmatic orientation and situational determination. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the researcher for the first time analyses the key feature of a "pilot - controller" dialogue: a dialogic statement is formed under the influence of two opposing tendencies - language economy and language redundancy, which makes aviation English an efficient means of "pilot - controller" communication.
