Abstract. The paper aims to identify the language means of the LOVE concept representation in the English language. The research methodology includes a definitional analysis of the lexeme-representative "love". Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the concept LOVE is analysed through the lens of linguo-culturology and within the framework of the semantic-cognitive approach. As a result, nuclear components of the concept are described, lexical units of the nominative field of the concept LOVE are identified and their semantic classification is presented. The research findings can serve as a basis for a more comprehensive semantic and cognitive analysis of the concept under study.
