Word-Formation Models and Structural Types of Neologisms - ICT Terms in the English Language

Abstract. The research objectives are as follows: to identify the basic word-formation models of neologisms - ICT terms in the English language, to reveal principles of ICT terms formation. Studying neologisms helps to understand the English word-formation system functioning. Scientific originality of the paper lies in the fact that the authors identify and classify the most productive word-formation models of neologisms - ICT terms in the English language. As a result, it is proved that neologisms-terms are most often formed morphologically, they belong to different morpho-semantic groups.
