Anthroponym Пётр in Kuban Onomasticon: Realization of Morphoderivative Potentialities

Abstract. The aim of the study is to identify the morphoderivative potentialities of the anthroponym Пётр, implemented in the onomasticon of Kuban, by the example of otonomastic derivatives. The scientific origi-nality is due to the correction of the author’s family of words for surnames of the inhabitants from the Krasnodar Territory with the peak Пётр by attracting new onomastic material; using linguo-geographical, structural and family-of-words` building approaches. As a result, the data have been obtained that testify to the family of words of surnames from Пётр as a top of the macro-family of the regional scale; to the historically established fixation of the Ukrainian surnames in Kuban. Other types of derived onyms are not numerous and do not violate the established nominative traditions.
