Verbal Aggression: Forms and Spheres of Existence. Cultural and National Specificity of Manifestation

Abstract. The paper aims to study the characteristics of the notion content, as well as the forms of expression and spheres of existence of verbal aggression in the space of modern communication. Today verbal aggression is being actively spread by the mass media resources (television, printed publications, Internet communication, etc.). The scientific originality of the research lies in the complex analysis of theoretical investigations of the notion "verbal aggression" and the analysis of means to express verbal aggression on the Internet. As a result, it has been revealed that verbal aggression is the expression of verbal hostility by the subject of speech towards the object of communication through lexical, grammatical, stylistic and intonational language means.
