THE DYNAMICS OF THE NUMBER OF THE COUNTRY POPULATION OF PENZA PROVINCE IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIXTH - THE BEGINNING OF THE XXTH CENTURY

Abstract. In the article the change of the number and density of the basic category of the agricultural population of Penza province - peasantry - in the second half of the XIXth - at the beginning of the XXth centuries is considered. The comparisons of regional data with all-Russian are given. The reasons of the dynamism of demographic changes are revealed.
