Abstract. In the article the complex interrelations of belief and mind in the Middle Ages patristics are analyzed. The deep origins of the belief and mind problem as the result of religious, philosophical and patristic synthesis are studied. The holistic version of the interrelations of belief and mind in the early patristics is regarded.
