GERMAN INFLUENCE - RUSSIAN GREATNESS: VIEW FROM WITHIN THE RUSSIAN PUBLIC OF THE XIXTH CENTURY

Abstract. In the article the authority and influence of the Germans in Russia of the XIXth century are considered. On the basis of the complex analysis of sources the reaction of the Russian public towards the Germans inhabiting the Russian Empire is described.
