CIRCUS GENRE - PHENOMENON OF PERCEPTION

Abstract. The article reveals the essence of perception peculiarity in circus when circus show viewing is based on the principle of circle perception and an artist is maximum open for the audience whatever part of the circus arena or big top he/she is in. This is one of the peculiarities of circus art and its difference from many other kinds of art including theatre. This circumstance has its own advantages and disadvantages. It is the perception of circus number showing the specificity of circus genre that is the object of the research in the context of perception specificity. This question has never been discussed in academic circles that is why this article will be really interesting for the researchers of visual kinds of art and for the students studying artistic and philosophical subjects.
