Abstract. The author considers the questions of criminal law, legal procedure and penalty imposition according to the Armenian Code of Law by Mhitar Gosh of the end of the XII^th - the beginning of the XIII^th centuries, pays special attention to the principles of legal procedure and penalty imposition and considers the order and conditions of penalty imposition in the form of capital punishment in detail.
