NUCLEAR WEAPONS MONITORING AND CONTROL: THE EVOLUTION OF THE BILATERAL RELATIONS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE USA

Abstract. The author reveals some basic approaches to security in the context of nuclear weapons monitoring and control, emphasizes the analysis of the contractual framework of the Russian-American relations in regard to armaments control and estimates Russia and the USA attitude to the nuclear arms reduction treaty (New START).
