LONG WAY TO STRONG REGIONS: TERRITORIAL-ADMINISTRATIVE DECENTRALIZATION HISTORY IN POST-SOCIALIST POLAND (1989-2001)

Abstract. The author describes the process of administrative system political decentralization in Poland on the basis of the new variant of country territorial division in the first post-socialist years (1989-2001), and pays special attention to the historical aspect of reforms conditioning.
