U.S. AND SOVIET INTERESTS IN THE OIL WARS OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE XXTH CENTURY

Abstract. The author considers the question of the USSR and the USA participation in the struggle for the world's oil resources control, presents the specific examples of the world leaders' confrontation in the oil wars of the second half of the ХХth century and shows the modern military-political situation related to global oil trade problems.
