REGULATION ON CONSULAR PRIVILEGES AS THE FIRST ATTEMPT OF CONSULAR LAW CODIFICATION

Abstract. The author analyzes the articles of Regulation on Consular Privileges adopted by International Law Institute at Venice Session on September 26, 1896 and states that the Regulation used consular law science achievements and established consular activity practice of many countries.
