ANTI-WESTERNISM AS TARGET STRATEGY OF MODERN RUSSIAN ELITE: CAUSAL FOUNDATIONS

Abstract. The authors analyze the reasons of the modern Russian elite's appeal to anti-Westernism, and in the course of the study come to the conclusion that the current renaissance of anti-Westernism, its popularity are conditioned by the Russian elite's rational desire to solve the contradictory task of the existent level retention of power-property distribution at the sufficiently high potential of protest moods taking place in the present-day Russian society.
