Abstract. The author raises the problems of surrogate motherhood legal regulation in Russia, in particular, reveals the content of the notion surrogate motherhood, considers the legal nature of a surrogate motherhood contract, brings out the flaws and drawbacks of the legal regulation of these relations, and pays special attention to the priority of the analyzed problems solution in the state demographic policy.
