KUIBYSHEV DISTRICT POPULATION'S CINEMA SERVICE IN THE 1930S AND ON THE EVE OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

Abstract. The author studies the questions of cinemafication within Kuibyshev district in the 1930s and during the prewar period, analyzes the factors that determined urban and rural cinema circuit development, the reasons that prevented population's cinema service improvement and pays special attention to the financial-technical and staffing support of the District Cinemafication Administration concerning the solution of the problems of population's cinema service level improvement during the period under consideration.
