CULTURAL LANDSCAPES AS TOURIST DEVELOPMENT RESOURCE OF THE RUSSIAN NORTH

Abstract. The author discusses essential problematics - the estimation of cultural landscapes territories role and significance within the Russian North for their ecotourism development, and shows that Kenozer'e, being the example of the most valuable cultural landscapes combination, with its traditional coast-dweller culture artifacts is of great interest for environmental and eco-cultural tourism development with the purpose of the coast-dweller brand positioning.
