Abstract. The author presents the analytical review of the notional-categorical content of hermeneutics method in the idea and interpretation of the outstanding Russian philosopher G. Shpet, and shows the topicality of this thinker's works in the Russian philosophy overall context of the beginning of the ХХth century for the solution of modern philosophical and philological hermeneutics problems.
