Abstract. The author analyzes the degree of the knowledge base of the sources on social-political associations history put in the funds of the Central State Archive of Historical and Political Documents of the Republic of Tatarstan during the post-soviet period, determines the most common topics of scientific historical researches over the past twenty years, and reveals the funds of social-political associations, which are practically not introduced into scientific circulation.
