Abstract. The author analyzes political regimes changes and their influence on military security, shows that any change of political regime involves the modification of the system and mechanism for ensuring military security, and sometimes reduces the ability of state to implement defense, and determines the dependence of the ways of military security system change on the ways of the transition from one political regime to another.
