STAKHANOVISM SABOTEUR AS "ENEMY OF PEOPLE"

Abstract. The article considers the use of the image of the Stakhanovism disorganizer among other images of "the enemies of the Soviet people" in the second half of the 1930s. The reasons of workers and intellectuals’ discontent with Stakhanovism are analyzed. The organization of repressions against the real opponents of Stakhanovism and mythical enemies is revealed. It is proved that the image of the fictitious saboteur of Stakhanovism became an essential part of the world outlook transmitted to the society.
