OUTSTANDING RUSSIAN ENLIGHTENERS AND TEACHERS ABOUT DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHERS’ RESEARCH ACTIVITY

Abstract. The article considers the contribution of the outstanding Russian enlighteners and teachers to the theory and practice of the teacher’s research activity development. As a result of their works analysis it was revealed that domestic teachers, as well as their West-European predecessors, promoted the development of such its trends as students inclusion into research activity and the study of the student’s personality, as well as the application of research methods in practical teaching. They paid special attention to the formation of new pedagogical experience basing on experimentation, its generalization and theoretical understanding.
