SIGNIFICANCE OF INTEGRATIVE APPROACH TO GERONTOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE

D'yachenko Liana Insafovna
Kazan’ National Research Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev

Abstract. The "initial cause" of old age has always remained a problem for gerontology. However, for some time, within the framework of gerontology the insufficiency, and limitedness of exceptionally monistic, primarily natural-science approach to understanding old age has become apparent. The author demonstrates the necessity of natural and classical sciences integration as applied to gerontological knowledge and the phenomenon of old age in particular.
Key words and phrases: интеграция, философский подход, геронтология, старение, феномен старости, теории старения, телесность, гуманизм, integration, philosophical approach, gerontology, aging, old age phenomenon, theory of aging, corporality, humanism.
