Abstract. The article pays attention the process of Catholics-foreigners assimilation and adaptation to life in St. Petersburg in the first half of the XVIII th century. The problem is considered from the perspective of Catholics’ social relations that are reconstructed on the basis of the analysis of parish registers of the Roman-Catholic church of St. Catherine of Alexandria.
