Bayazitova Galiya Railevna
Ufa State Academy of Arts named after Z. Ismagilov

Abstract. The article is devoted to the issues of sound formation at polyphonic phonation – "solo polyphony" produced by one singer. On the basis of the fact of bronchial system participation in voice formation, differences in drone bass sounding in various patterns of polyphonic phonation are explained. It is shown that bronchial system "multi-stage" essence brings about register and timbre variety, increases sounding diapasons that allows the singer producing two, three and more voices simultaneously, i.e. creating "solo polyphony".
