POTESTAS MYTHOLOGY AS SOURCE OF IDEAS ABOUT PUBLIC AUTHORITY SACRAL CHARACTER IN TRADITIONAL SOCIETIES CULTURES

Abstract. In the article it is suggested that one should single out potestas mythology section – mythological ideas complex about public authority divine origin – besides four main sections traditionally singled out by researchers within archaic sacral mythology limits (theogony, cosmogony, anthropogenesis, history genesis). The author substantiates the differentiation appropriateness of potestas, ethno-genetic and political mythology on the basis of the written monuments of Antiquity and the Dark Ages.
