UKRAINIAN MUSICAL IN CROSS-CULTURAL INTERACTION SPACE

Abstract. In the article the dynamics of the Ukrainian folklore implementation in the genre sphere of pop- and rock-music, musical and rock-opera is considered in the context of Russia and Ukraine cross-cultural mutual influence in the last third of the XX th – XXI st century by the material analysis of the musical-dramatic works by S. Bedusenko, I. Poklad, E. Lapeiko, G. Tatarchenko, A. Kolomiitsev. This problem is studied within the limits of the modern tendencies of globalization and westernization as a phenomenon to a large extent determining the development directions of mass culture.
