PEASANT’S HOUSE AS BASE OF AGRICULTURAL KNOWLEDGE AND COOPERATIVE EDUCATION EXPANSION IN THE 1920S (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE EUROPEAN NORTH)

Abstract. The article basing on archival materials tells about the cultural and educational activity of Peasant’s Houses in the 1920s. The participation of Peasant’s Houses in agricultural knowledge and cooperative education expansion in the European North is analyzed in detail. The main forms of oral agronomic propaganda (reference work and consultations, lectures, agricultural exhibitions), the visual aids of cooperative agitation (posters and transparencies) are considered.
