Abstract. Within the framework of the article the authors analyze the process of the formation of biological art trend as a particular case of science art - the transdisciplinary area, in which the synthesis of discursive thinking and intuitive estimation is realized supposing the adaption of the methods of natural and exact sciences for the creation of scientifically-grounded art, and art methods - for the formation of new science theories. The authors also reveal the potential of the integration of art and biological sciences including the potential of using the technologies of synthetic biology in actual art.
