REALIA OF RELIGIOUS "THAW" IN THE KABARDIAN ASSR (1944-1954)

Abstract. The features of religious processes in the Kabardian ASSR during religious "thaw" period in 1944-1954 are considered. The reasons of the sharp turn of the state religious policy towards the normalization of relations with ministers of religion and believers are specified. The formation of a number of trends that determined the features of religious life in the Republic in the next decades are analyzed basing on archival materials.
