Abstract. The article is devoted to the little studied period in the history of the Russian political parties. On the basis of the unpublished sources of the State Archive of Bryansk Region the opposition activity of Bryansk province socialists and anarchists in the second half of the 1920s is analyzed, the forms and methods of their work with the region population are revealed. The author has considered socialists and anarchists as the potential bearers of opposition ideas and the most active part of protest movement that was perceived as a threat by Bolshevik authorities.
