Sil'nova Elena Ivanovna
Saratov State Social-Economic University

Abstract. The article reveals the mechanisms of developing social image from archetype. The archetype of Mother-Earth is the basis of the Russian society collective consciousness. The analysis of archetype transformation into social images derived from it is interfaced with the notions of social philosophy and mental constructs that allows revealing the social characteristics and meanings of these images. The social meaning of the Russian social images –Mother, Father, Farmer, and Warrior – is implemented in social practices through the integration of people in community.
