Abstract. The article presents the analysis of some modern philosophical conceptions concerning the views on the nature of time, which were characteristic for the postmodernity epoch. Starting out from Derrida’s criticism of the Heideggerian "metaphysics of presence" the author comes to the conclusion about the essential transformation of modern temporal ideas in comparison with the classical model. The main peculiarity of the new structure is the loss of such characteristics as unambiguity and one-dimensionality. Similar transformation can be traced, in particular, while considering the concept of "rhizome" of Deleuze and Guattari as well as referring to Baudrillard’s criticism of postindustrial society.
