FLYING CLUBS IN SIBERIA ON THE EVE OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

Abstract. The article considers aviation personnel training for the Air Forces of the USSR through the system of Osoaviakhim flying clubs located within the territory of Siberia. The issues of staffing with constant and variable personnel, the material support of the flying clubs on the eve of the Great Patriotic War are covered. Basing on archival sources analysis the author reveals the major problems in the activity of the flying clubs.
