Abstract. The article investigates the contradictions originating in the modern anthropogenic world. The factors generating anthropogenic risks under the formation of informational society are analyzed. The author characterizes the basic viewpoints on the consequences of the widespread adoption of new information technologies in all the spheres of the life activity of society. The paper identifies the basic areas, the implementation of which could reduce the degree of anthropogenic risks.
