FORMATION OF CONTEMPORARY JAZZ-DANCE

Abstract. Contemporary jazz-dance is considered as a component of modern choreographic art, its characteristic is given in the article. The analysis of including contemporary jazz-dance in the curricula of Ukraine choreographic education is conducted. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and argue the use of the key notions of contemporary jazz-dance formation in the choreographic art of the beginning of the ХХI century, and also to create its definition.
