IMPROVEMENT OF LEGISLATION IN SPHERE OF ENERGY SAVING AND RAISING ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract. The article describes the basic conceptions of the current legislation in the sphere of energy saving. The author emphasizes the problem of the content of the current normative acts, which are basically of blanket nature nowadays, investigates the meaning of such concepts as energy saving and energy efficiency. The researcher performs an analysis of the current legislation and the history of its development both at federal and regional levels, introduces ways for its improvement.
