SPECIFICITY OF TEACHING PHILOSOPHY IN MODERN TECHNICAL INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION: METHODOLOGICAL POSSIBILITIES OF PRAGMATISM

Abstract. The article is devoted to pragmatism as the most effective method of teaching philosophy in modern technical institutions of higher education: being the antagonist of the usual forms of teaching philosophy, pragmatism is authentic for the type of thinking, the general mindset of the students of technical specialities, which, in its turn, enables those, who study philosophy, to explore philosophical conceptions (ideas) as generalized actual life experience. The paper reveals the content of pragmatism as a method, shows used in teaching practice examples of the selection of topics for philosophy classes in technical institutions of higher education.
