STRATEGIES OF THE FAR EAST TRANSPORT DEVELOPMENT AND THEIR IMPLEMENTATION IN THE RECENT HISTORY OF RUSSIA (2000-2015)

Abstract. The article deals with the directions of the transport development of the Russian Far East at the beginning of the XXI century. The main results of the implementation of the government programs on the transport infrastructure expansion are represented. The conditions and trends of the communication system improvement are shown. The problems of the resource support of the transport sector are analyzed. The qualitative disparities of regional communications are identified and the necessity to overcome them as soon as possible for the full development of the Far East is substantiated.
