RATIONAL DIMENSION OF CREATIVITY IN GRAPHIC DESIGN

Abstract. In the article the role of the rational component of creativity in the practice of design-projection is presented. The author reveals the principles of creativity in the context of the innovative direction of the intellectual development of design-conception in graphic design: novelty (originality) and practical reasonability. The author’s idea on the dependence of design-decision creativity on the presence of novelty (originality), practical reasonability, and also on the degree of correspondence to the ideal model of design-object is substantiated.
