EVOLUTION OF SENSE OF JUSTICE CONCEPTIONS IN SOVIET LEGAL SCIENCE

Abstract. The article examines the peculiarities of the formation of sense of justice conceptions in the legal science of the Soviet period. The author singles out the main stages of the formation of sense of justice theory and analyzes views on sense of justice in the works of famous Soviet legal scholars. The conclusion is made about the interconnection of the development of sense of justice conceptions with the problem of law understanding, the chief tasks of legal science and about a special contribution of Soviet legal scholars to the development of the definition of sense of justice, its structure, functions, connections with other social and legal phenomena, and also the factors determining its development.
