DETERMINATION OF SUBJECTIVITY IN SOCIOCULTURAL WORLD

Abstract. The paper examines the problems of the determination of popular (mass) culture by the ideological criteria, which give rise to the mythology of the "n-dimensionality" of a human’s existence. The symbolic production of society is analyzed as a system of inequalities. The conclusion is made that the research of sociocultural reality may be a mechanism of the emancipation of a personality from the system of the dependences built by the effect of the mechanisms of latent coercion.
